The climb last year was metal but thankfully they've taken-off one third of it, sounds like a good course, improved a lot from last year, hope to see ye there!

I'll be there anyway. The course was very different (from everything else) last year. A dirty great big climb followed by an amazing descent. The rain came out for my race last year which meant it was one of the sketchiest descents I've done on an XC bike. I think they took a lot of the input from the people who raced last year on board and it should be a great days racing. It's not *that* far either. About 2:15/2:30 from the south side...

Ehh Ryan, what chance do I have if you call it a "dirty great big climb"?!? I'll be there anyway, walking me thinks! 2 down, going for the hat trick.

Fergal, I found a nice 10ft length of timber fence, should make a cool bridge. Still working on the last few pallets.Salvaged 50+ nails as well so far!

The climb was actually fine (as in, it wasn't too steep or technical) it was just that it was pretty long. Although 1/3 of it is chopped off so it will be much much easier :) The descent was simply amazing though - I had a huge smile on my face each time down in :)

I doubt any of the lads will have brought forms with them to the race, but you never know. Of course this information might be of no use since you might be at the race!
