Trailbuilding in Kindlestown Saturday April 1st
![]() | Coillte have given the go ahead to start work on the track in Kindelstown. The first work day planned is Saturday 1st April. The track will be upgraded to IMBA standards, for the most part reinforcing what's there, in some cases redesigning certain sections. Aside from the end result of improving the trail, this day will also be a valuable training session in the art of trail design and building. Anybody interested developing these skills should certainly come along to share their experiences with trailbuilders from IMBA and Mountain Meithal. Work will start at 10:30 sharp, finishing about 4:00. Volunteers should contact Sean Herlihy from EPIC, or alternatively Mick O'Dowd for further information. For insurance purposes, you have to be over 18 to participate. |
