MTB Beginners Course - Week 5 - Last One!

Over the past month we've had nearly 40 riders of all ages and abilities come along on our beginners rides. It's great to see so many people improve their confidence, skill and abilities in a short space of time. The final one takes place this Saturday in Slade Valley, location of the MAD Dash earlier this year. We'll be mostly riding woodland singletrack with a few short climbs and some challenges for the brave. There will be a demonstration of how to keep your gears in tune too. We'd like everyone to come along (whether you've been on the other spins or not) for this final outing. We'll meet at the Slade Valley car park and start the ride at 10am.

sorry lads can't make this last one but with Paddy's return it sounds like there'll be a good few MAD instructors so the beginners will be in good hands.

PS: Someone was selling Jesus up in Slade a few weeks ago, some very prim and proper lookin' young yank in a lovely yellow tank top (style!!) came over to me and gave me a pamphlet and started telling me that the The Lord was ready to fill that hole in my soul - huh??? what hole is this now? ...as far as I recall, I flogged my soul to the dark side yonks ago back in college (I'm still owed the pimped Merc, big house & rock n roll career).
I think he must've heard me effin' and blindin' when trying to make that evil IMBRC climb...
    Moral of this story?
Keep the profanity to a minimum or you'll be made ride down the Happy Valley (of the lord!!) no handed while reciting bible verses (pray u make it to the bottom alive!)

    Hey,
Are there any non beginners that are interested in a different spin? Maybe something different, spin to leadmines or we could do the spin from a couple of Sundays ago if weather permits.

    Anybody interested?
