Inter-Club Night Race League Thurs 15 Feb

The Inter-Club Night Race League continues this week at the EPIC club course in Leadmines. The race is run on a handicap system so anyone can come along and have fun.

Starting at 7:30 at Leadmines tower/EPIC club course, but we will meet/depart from Palmers Golden Ball pub at 7:00pm sharp to get up there in time to intimidate the competition with 'eye-of-the-tiger' stares and'don't-diss-me-mutha' tough-looking folded arm poses.

Any problems with developing these looks please contact Morgan O'Connell's School-of-Advanced-Psyche-Outs on 1-800-I-pity-the-fool

Hope to see ye there!

a good nights racing last night on the 4th night race league in Leadmines.

Steve, Tom, Shane, Oisin and myself flew the MAD flag and Shane Lavelle was there too but not sure if he was racing...?
the muddy climb was a killer with wheels spinning-out all over the place but inside the forest wasn't too bad.
The switchbacks were tough though, a lot of dabbing on my part on them, and there were 2 parts in the 2nd forest section which were well-gloopy.
The troughs in the forest seem to be getting deeper or else my bottom bracket has decided to lower itself an inch or two....

Kate took us on a cool route up and over Barnaslingan afterwards, a technical, rocky, sometimes-slippy descent, then a nice sprint down the road rounded the night off nicely - MTB is great -- sure why would you bother doing anything else....?
