Get your night-moves groovin' ! Night ride Ticknock 7pm Tues 30 Jan

I'll be parking at Taylors Pub and cycling up from there at 6:45 (brisk pace) if anyone wants to join me.
Double-check your lights are charged and remember your flashy/LED style light if you are cycling on the road.
I'm open to any route options people may prefer, the DH section (near to entrance to the MAD club course)could be an option, there is also a spooky new-ish DH section near daggetts which finishes in a steep slope to the fireroad - ooerrr!
A hair-raising descent down the gully-licious rock-n-rollin' boneshaker will likely finish-off the spin.
Hope to see ye there - weather looks dry so that's all the more reason to get out and let rip!

Will this be suitable for beginners or those who have never gone on a night ride before?

I'd be up for my first night ride! Think I wouldn't be able for much more than the park tho. If there is a beginners night ride going ahead tomorrow (Wed), would I be able to borrow lights from some one?
Cheers

There's also a plan for a night ride on Thursday - Shane Lavelle's notion. Probably Hellfire/Masseys.
These spins are slower than the hard-core ones, but tougher than the Park.

nice spin tonight, I met Judith & Paddy at Taylors and cycled-up from there, we met Ciaran at Ticknock then proceeded up to the aerials and met Tom on the way who had climbed-up the boneshaker from the Gala shop.
First off was the MAD club course all was flowing smoothly until Tom suffered 2 x broken chain incidents- he was well p*ssed-off, and I can't blame him, as it was perfect weather and dry conditions up there tonight.
Paddy headed-off when we got to the aerials leaving Ciran, Judith and myself to head-off down the upper section of the dh course - from there we cut across to the fireroad down to the start of the transition to the boneshaker.
Ciaran headed back up the 'shaker to the car park, so speedy-wheels Maguire and myself gave the boneshaker a good thrashing for itself to round-off a good nights biking.
might see some of ye Thurs night for the inter-club races at Leadmines!

toms obviously been doing too many leg exercises in preparation for wales!
Still, at least we both made it down the boneshaker wihtout any further mishaps except for tom taking a wrong turn at one point.
I do think we should be drug testing judith though .. she must have been taking some form of go faster juice over the last week or two
