forgot to add that handlebar-moustaches (like the lively lads have in the picture) are optional, though you will be frowned upon if you aren't see without a dry Sherry or a vintage Port in your hand...

I have to send my rear shock over to the UK for warranty repair so no biking for me for a while.....

Sending it to MOJO? Overnight it and they will send it back the same day. Give them a call and they will sort you out. It took 3 days all in to get my shock fixed when I had to do that.

Will do - is it much of a hassle to remove a shock? assume I remove all the air from it via the valve and then just dissasemble - anything I need to be wary of? - thanks Ryan

I had to do this with my stumpjumper fsr.
I just depressurised the shock then removed it from the bike - simple operation, just have something to support the two parts of the frame as you take the shock out or it gets annoying.

I suggest removing the all the washers from the shock (there were two wedged in tight to the shock I almost didn't see) before sending it off to mojo.

Wonder how many of these failed..?

well now, let me tell you.....a long time ago in a land far far away, there lived an evil being known across the lands as the Shock Monster! This monster loved the taste of Fox shocks and......err..hang on, no it wasn't that, I did the drop up in Barnaslingan forest (the one in the forest after u come down from Cattys) and landed it just fine, but right after I saw oil fizzing from the compression lever area so assume a seal must have blown or something, the bike was riding like a big lump of jelly afterwards - boingy-boingy, bouncey-bouncey!
Luckily it's still under warranty so it's off to the UK for repair tomorrow, even luckier Steve says he has a shock that might do me until I get the other one back - thanks Steve!

We should do things like that more often.

Mark - it was like an NPS! There were loads of people out - 20+ of us hammering down the Blast course (after one TOUGH climb up)
You should see the amount of muck on my gear - kinda like a brown suit of armour, but it can wait until I get back from hols to wash it, lift-off to Prague commencing in 6 hours and counting...

I was not happy on sunday morning i can tell you ... the deamons in my brain had pick-axes and pnuematic drills and other noisy and painful instruments. Still, its amazing how you forget about the hangover once you start a killer climb in the pouring rain and misery that was sunday.

Good muddy fun on the way back down though, but i could have done wihtout the rain at the end while unpacking.

Whens round 2 of the MAD Lash happening. Did anyone make an updated league table? Young (Old) Tom gets 1 point and the rest of us get none!!
