NightRide Thurs 2 Nov: Leadmines/Barnaslingan 7:30

You guessed it - it's another one of those wild and wacky night rides
Tonight our venue is Leadmines/Barnaslingan, which incorporates the technical EPIC club course, the chain-straining climb up Catty Gallaghers, the nerve-wracking descent off Cattys, and of course the shock-busting 'off-the-rock' drop in the forest.

All good clean fun, and fully Hoff-approved.

We'll meet-up in Palmers Golden Ball Pub at 7:30 as this is a much safer place to park your car.

Don't forget your road lights as we'll be on the road for a brief bit from the pub to Barnaslingan car park.

Hope to see ye there!
-The Hoff

I'll be heading out doing something on Sunday... I would love to go to somewhere different but that poses two problems (for me). No car to get there and no idea of the trails... Otherwise - I'll be doing one of the usual spins.

I've been thinking of finding a way from 3 Rock to Slade Valley by the mountains - is there a way? I guess I should consult the maps...

Fergal - the jumps out in Slade Valley are probably dry now :)

For anyone checking this in the morning...

Will be passing by the YH at 10 tomorrow for the beginners spin. I know this is a bit late but we will catch up no doubt ;) See you there!

Anyone interested in a night spin tomorrow night? It will be an intermediate type spin (basically - if you did a night spin or two before or a few bigger MAD spins you will be grand).

I was out on the trails today and they are the driest I have seen them in 6 months - lets use them before it changes to a mud pit again - here is the probable route.

Taylors up to Ticknock carpark - up Three Rock - up to Daggets (possibly via Fairy) - down the club course - up the fireroad (red road) and down the forest section that ends in the drop back onto the fireroad - then bone shaker (probably traverse across to it) back down to Taylors.

Let me know if you plan on coming so we are not waiting around...

Taylors pub is at the center of this link:

Please be there on time - it's cold hanging around! My number is 0868346006

(I sent this to the list but I don't know if it got sent...)
