St. Stephen's Day Spin - Tuesday 26th December 2006
Hey everybody,
A St. Stephen's Day Super-Happy-Fun-Time Spin will take place on Tuesday the 26th! Everybody is welcome to come along - especially beginners. It's time to show off your newly acquired skills! This is a great opportunity for new members to meet existing members also.
We will meet at the Yellow House in Rathfarnham at 11am. We will be leaving no later than 11.15am, so if you are running late then please call me so we can wait or meet you along the way. The pace will be very relaxed
The planned route is up to Ticknock Carpark and then onto Fairy Castle, down to the Wocca Woccas and then down through Tibradden. We will finish with a blast down through Masseys Wood and then home via the road.

It is also time for those interested in joining the club to fill in a membership form and bring it with you on Tuesday along with the membership fee of €20. Forms are available here: Membership Form
Generally people will be asked for membership if they are planning on continuing to come with the club after a few spins with us.

hey lads, the MAD President is going to race a turkey down the bog!! Aggghh - ha ha!!
I've got €10 on the turkey to beat him by at least 2 mins - anyone take me up on a wager?
Mr President, is that a plucked or non-plucked gobble-gobbler? Aerodynamics may play a part, just ask Sean, he plucks his legs and that's why he lashes up fireroads!

Loads out yesterday on what was a great spin. That descent from Fairy down to club course fire road is CRAZY, looking forward to seeing the videos... Those roots must be the slippiest in all of Wicklow!

fair play to everyone that came out for the spin, I reckon everyone had a great time. Young Oisin was really hammering down that boneshaker fair play to him, slightly older Oisin was blasting through everything 3 Rock could throw at him, think I'll change my name to Oisin...seems to be good for the mojo.
Meanwhile, here's a quick video, the misty riders thing looked really cool, when I grow up I'd like to be a misty rider....
