Oisin is married? But he's still in school! That has to be illegal.

Ah, but it's grown-ups school, similar to the one Tom is in, but Tom is a very naughty boy in his school, always getting told-off by teacher for playing kiss-chasing with the girls...I hear that Paddy was no better behaved when he was in grown-ups school....

Indeed, the lecturers here still talk about that fabled Mr O'Brien with a tear in their eye...

i'm gonna have a terrible (and totally undeserved .. honest) reputation from all this talk.

And as for the chairmans avatar .. he should really change it on epics site too just to annoy mr byrne somewhat

hey Conor, well, we'll be going pretty much as fast as we can, it's more a training spin than anything else, as such, there'll be very little waiting etc..

4 takers for the early Demon spin-Graham (on his brand new Canyon - v-e-r-y nice machine, great to finallly see one in the

    aluminium), Rob, Oisin and myself.
Headed up toward Fairycastle then left at the junction and followed the trail along to the edge of the forest, Oisin headed-off

to claim his MTBer of the year award from UCD (nice!) while the rest of us continued on down the wicked descent to the

    entrance at the lower fireroad.

Climbed up and back across to the trail I had made an exit slope for, which turned out to have

been somewhat wrecked, then halfway down the boneshaker and split left to join the Improvers spin at the upper car park.

The Improvers spin provided great entertainment (great sunshine too) - an awful lot of bodies and bikes flying through the

air, rollling down slopes, arse-first skids, shouts of "waheey" and "oh no" and "agghh jesus help me", very few escaped the

    wrath of "no-dabs"....

The bermy rollercoaster down to Barnacullia (or whatever) was brilliant - nice one Mr Chariman.
The right-of-way provided the opportunity for some outlandish-action (sort-of) videos... Mogan will be submitting them for the next Kranked/Earthed DVD.

...and I'd like to write more but I'm off to the pub!
See ye on the trails soon
    Keep it fast and fyoooorious
    Mr Secretary

Sounds like a brilliant one this morning! God Dammit.

I had a sleeping-in catastrophy and only made it up to the ticknock car park at 10:25. Met Louis, packing away his poor bike, who told me I'd missed everyone by just a few mins. Ahh!! Hadn't really studied to route map, so I decided to pull a Nancy Drew on the situation and follow your tracks. Managed to lose them at the aerials, along with my sense of direction. It was cool though, had my ipod blasting in my ears so it was exactly like being inside a crazy mountain biking video. Except without the skillz. Eventually made it to the leadmines (via Wexford, probably) at about 12:30, where I met Arik (sp?) from Poland who was also doing loops and looking for you guys, so all was not lost. Got home at 3pm. Gorgeous day for a spin.

Next week I'll have a complex system of booby-trapped alarms in place to get my sleepy ass out of bed on time.

    See yas then!

A big congratulations to sean who now holds the world record for the most punctures per kilometre cycled after our trip to cloon yesterday. I think we counted 5 in total by the time we got to cloon. Although given that his tire was flat there it may actually have been 6!!!

Sean you obviously need to lose a bit of weight!

God MAD are fierce lucky for record breaking attempts with punctures!

    Sean- 5 punctures in 1KM!
Markus- 40mins to repair a puncture with spare tube, pump and levers!
Nigel- The first person to puncture both front and rear wheels at the same time on a spin!

    Whata club :D

    Can't remember who it was...
