Beginners ride this Sunday

MAD will be having another beginners spin this Sunday. We'll start in Massies wood and maybe go further depending on the group. Riders of every ability are welcome to come along but remember to bring the essentials (working bike, helmet, warm clothes, food/water, tubes). This ride was previously planned for Saturday.
We'll meet at the Yellow House pub in Rathfarnham at 10am and cycle up to Massies from there (10-15 mins). If you'd prefer to avoid the short road climb (~10 mins) you could meet us at the lower entrance to Massies (i.e. not the Hellfire club side) around 10.20.

Race season is approaching

The 2005 XC race season gets off to a busy start next month with three races taking place in April. MBUL are running their Search for the Holy Trail race for the second year on April 3rd; round 1 of the National Points Series takes place in Castlewellan Co. Down on April 10th and round 2 will be on in Ballinastoe Co. Wicklow on April 24th. We're hoping to have a good turn out from MAD at the races this year.

CI licences have arrived

We've received our first batch of race licences from Cycling Ireland. MAD club members should collect them on the next spin.
