Bank Holiday Weekend Rides

Something for everyone
There'll be a couple of rides this weekend with a bit of something for everyone.

Saturday we'll have a beginners spin (suitable for everyone, from those who have never cycled offroad before and upwards). Meeting at 10am at the yellow house, or 10:30 at the entrance to Ticknock forest (or under the nearest clump of trees if this weather keeps up!). Check out the beginners section of our website for what to bring.

Sunday will be some form of longer, faster paced ride and won't be suited to beginners, or those of questionable fitness. Meeting at the yellow house at 10am. If you're driving its still best to meet here as we may not come back the same way we go up so if you leave your car at ticknock you may have a long climb at the end of a tiring day.

And don't forget, even if its raining we'll still be going out, it'll help wash the mud off!

Any questions or comments mail or call (086 6087046) me.

Midweek Spin

This weeks midweek spin will take place Wednesday at 7pm. We'll be
meeting at the Yellow house (NOT in Ticknock carpark), and heading up
Cruagh, over Tibradden, and back round to Fairy Castle.

All takers welcome, but be warned, it'll be a steady pace with solid
climbing for the first hour! Further info, contact me
(mick_o_dowd @ hotmail.com, 086 6004878).

Stay posted for news of a spin over the weekend. As it's a bank
holiday, it may not suit everyone, but this would be a good time to get
special requests in!

Beginners Spin - Saturday 23rd July

There will be an easy spin, suitable for everyone from total beginners
and upwards, this Saturday at 10am.

We'll be meeting at the Yellow House in Rathfarnham as usual, with the
destination to be decided on the day depending on who turns up, and
what the doc allows me to do.

If you're driving and would rather meet us at whichever destination we
choose, then let me know by email or phone
(086 6087046) and we can sort it out on the day (i.e. you'll get a
call giving you 20 minutes to get to the chosen car park!)
