Trailbuilding 3 rock Monday 29 Oct

Yeah, I know - an unpopular day, but weather is likely not good for biking, and you should ALL have your Christmas shopping done by now anyway.
Anyone who can make it out for a few hours will be an total hero, we'll mainly be clearing new singletrack, and possibly also revamping the old MAD club course (depending on numbers we get) as it's all over the place at the moment.

Tools:
Definitely need some strong/yard brushes and rakes.
Spade, loppers also useful.

I'll be up there from approx 9am

Put a post here or text me on 087-792-7730 if you can make it out
Thanks
Fergal

No concrete plans for the weekend yet as I may be doing the last DH NPS of the season down in Waterford, possibilities are a long spin on Sat then an afternoon-special Dixie Dash with a spin afterwards.

A double helping of awesome!

Gourmet
This weekends cycling menu is as follows:

On Saturday you can savour the savoury delights of Kindlestown under the leadership of Ben. This ride would suit people of any ability - the route is a loop so you can go as slowly or as quickly as you want. Meet at the Kindlestown car park at 10am.

On Sunday you can challenge your palette with the Ortolan of mtb rides. Starting at Taylors Three Rock, Tom will lead the brave riders over Three Rock and Prince Willies, through Crone, down XTC, along Benchcut and, if you have room for dessert, home on the road. Meet at Taylors Three Rock at 10am, if you dare. This is not for the faint-hearted.

Weekend of Doom!

Olden Times

We'll have another ride around Djouce on Saturday morning. Martin now knows the trails like the back of his hand and will lead everyone to their doom. Leaving from the lower car park in Djouce at 10am - get there on time because Martin waits for no-one.

Martin passed a lot of tips on to me last week so I'm going to have a go at leading a spin myself on Sunday. This will be "awesome with savage overtones" on the MAD ride-o-meter so be prepared. I have a route in mind but there will be a bit of improvisation. We'll leave from the Glendalough visitors centre car park at 9am (once again, be on time).
